Rebecca L. Rout, 59, of Fishers, passed away Friday, March 9, 2018, at home in her sleep. Born, on April 25, 1958, in Vincennes, Indiana, she was the daughter of Robert and Sharon (Hart) Rout.
Rebecca attended high school at Columbus North before graduating from Greenwood High School. She was a Certified Property Manager for Weinenger-Stolberg before taking a management position in Indianapolis. Rebecca was a loving daughter who had a generosity and love of animals. She cared for her Palomino Horse at the age of 13 and many cats and dogs over the years. She was a volunteer at the Indianapolis Zoo and she was a beautiful decorator and an avid snow skier. She was baptized in the North Christian Church in Columbus, IN.
Survivors include her son, Shaun Moran, grandson, Jacob both of Greenwood, parents, Robert and Sharon Rout, sister, Cynthia Powers all of Bloomington, brother, Brian Rout and his wife Margo of Columbus, nieces, and nephew, Stephanie and Jennifer of Columbus, Ashley of Indianapolis, and Andrew of Atlanta.
