Rebecca “Becky” Loomis passed away peacefully on Monday, April 18th, 2022, surrounded by her family. Born on December 13,1965, Becky was a lifelong Largo, Florida resident.
A nurse for more than 30 years, Becky took great pride in caring for her patients. It was not uncommon for her to develop personal bonds with patients and families. For most of her career, she cared for cancer patients, administering treatments with care and compassion, striving to improve the patient’s health, but also working hard to ensure continued respect and dignity for those under her care.
She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Creig, daughters Jennifer and Stephanie, and sons Matthew and Michael, as well as seven grandchildren, her sister and two brothers. She was proceeded in death by her mouther, Ruby Humphress and her mother in law, Peggy Loomis.
