Rebecca Lynn Owens, 58 died on Sunday October 8, 2017 at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX following a lengthy battle with cancer.
She leaves behind her husband of 38 years, James Owens of Crawfordsville, IN. A sister, Rhonda (Jerry) Owens of Deer Park, TX. A brother, Rick Curtis of Easley, SC, She’s the daughter of Ruth Hudson of Crawfordsville, IN and the late Roy Curtis of Linden, IN.
She also leaves behind a niece, Jennifer Owens of La Porte TX, A nephew Joseph Parker of Lafayette, IN and a great nephew, Johnathan Owens Trevino of La Porte, who she was extremely close to. Also surviving are several other nieces and nephews.
She was born in Lafayette, IN and was raised in Linden, IN. She graduated from North Montgomery High School in 1977. She retired from retail business in 2008, due to health issues.
Becky was a former member of the Goldwing Road Riders Association. She enjoyed chapter meetings, dinner rides and various other chapter activities. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
