Rebecca “Becky” Ann Henry, 52, of O’Fallon, Ill., born May 26, 1954, in Santa Anna, CA., died Sunday, February 4, 2007 at Memorial Hospital, Belleville, Ill. Becky was the executive director for the O’Fallon Chamber of Commerce.
She was also Ward 2 Alderwoman for the City of O’Fallon, a member of the O’Fallon Chamber of Commerce, member of the O’Fallon Noon Rotary, board member of Program Services for Older Persons, P.S.O.P., served on the advisory board of the Belleville Salvation Army, a member of the First Baptist Church of O’Fallon, serving on the building committee for the 1st Baptist Church. For a number of years, Becky was also responsible for the successful Salute to Scott Day, fundraisers for the Scott Air Show, served on the Scott Field Heritage Air Park Committee and many other various community activities.”I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live but Christ who lives within me. Becky was preceded in death by her father Lawrence Hall and husband Charles “Chuck†R. Henry, who preceded her on May 1, 2005. She is survived by 2 sons Joshua & Keri Henry of Lebanon, Ill., Luke Henry of O’Fallon, Ill., her mother Leona, nee Farris, & Al Parish of North Shore, CA., 2 brothers, Joe & Cathy Hall of Prescott, AZ, John Hall of Virginia, a sister Donna & Brad Bertling of North Shore, CA. and mother-in-law Edith, nee Fookes, Henry of O’Fallon, Ill.
