Rebecca (Becky) Weatherwax, 70, passed away on Monday, March 28, 2022 in her home in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Becky was born in 1951 in Havre, Montana, to the late Gordan T. Peters and Gladys R. (Hamon) Peters. She was the middle child of Gordon & Gladys’ 5 children, and the only girl with 4 brothers; Gordon (Den), Donald, David, and Daniel. She spent her early years growing up in Malta, MT through her freshmen year of high school before the family moved to Casper, WY in the early 60’s.
Becky moved to Colorado Springs, CO in 1987 and worked for over 30 years as a hairstylist and independent business owner, with loyal clients spanning the entirety of her career. She was a mother, grandmother, friend, animal lover, and faithful believer in Christ.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers Gordon D. Peters, MD, and Daniel Peters, MD. She is survived by her children Robert (Shane) Weatherwax, MD (wife Melissa), Kriste Gose (husband Nate); husband William (Gary) Albertson; brothers Donald Peters, DDS, & David Peters; and grandchildren Trinity Weatherwax, Sage Weatherwax, Chloe Weatherwax, Logan Gose, and Ryann Weatherwax.
