Rebecca Anne Hansen, 68, a resident of Hagerman, passed away on Sunday, November 13, 2022 at St. Luke’s Medical Center in Twin Falls.
Becky was born on April 3, 1954, at Tacoma General Hospital in Tacoma, Washington, the daughter of Roy and Mona Brandfas. She was raised and educated in Tacoma at Tacoma Baptist Schools.
Becky married Jerry Pierce after graduating high school and they began their life as an Air Force couple living in England. After returning to the United States, they started their family. Becky gave birth to her three sons – Jerry Pierce Jr. in 1974, Shane Pierce in 1976, and Luke Pierce in 1977. The family moved to Lancaster, California in 1985. In 1988, Becky and Jerry divorced.
Becky later moved back to Tacoma where she would later marry her current husband, Steve Hansen. Becky and Steve moved to Hagerman to be closer with her boys and enjoy a different pace of life.
She is survived by: her two sons – Jerry and Luke; two grandchildren – Zachary and Ashley; one great grandchild – Evers; her beloved brothers – Norman Brandfas and Joseph Brandfas; and dearly loved sister – Gloria Lebien – all residing in Washington; along with her many nieces and nephews and other extended family.
She was preceded in death by: her parents – Roy and Mona Brandfas; and her son – Shane Pierce.
