Rebecca Ann (Asher) Whittenburg, 64, of Franklin, died on Friday, December 9, 2016, in Indianapolis. She was born on September 25, 1952, in Franklin.
She was a nurse’s aide with a home health care agency, for 15 years. She enjoyed doing jigsaw puzzles and loved being with her grandchildren. She was a resident of Tennessee for 30 years, returning to Indiana in 2013.
Rebecca is survived by her daughter, Angela (Jeffery Gillard) Atwood of Franklin, one sister, Dana (George) Moore of Franklin, three brothers, Richard (Dirinda) Asher, Kerry (Sarah) Atwood all of Franklin, and Scott (Gina) Atwood of Avon, two grandchildren, Megan Atwood, and Jeffery Gillard II, and one great-grandchild, Promice Atwood.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Violet (White) Atwood, her step-father, Wilburn “Dee” Atwood, three brothers, Francis “Butch” Asher Jr., Steve Atwood, and David Asher.
