Reathel Beisch, age 75 of Algona, passed away Wednesday, December 2, 2020 at the Mercy One Medical Center of North Iowa in Mason City. Reathel Enid Beisch, the daughter of John A. and Elfrieda (Bielefeldt) Doebbert, was born on December 6, 1944 in Fountain City, Wisconsin. She was the youngest of 11 children. She graduated from Cochrane Fountain City High School in 1963. On July 2, 1971, Reathel was united in marriage with Gerald Beisch in Westmont, Illinois. She was employed by Pioneer until her retirement. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Algona and the United Methodist Women. Reathel loved to work in her flower garden. Her grandchildren were very dear to her and she spent as much time with them as possible. Left to cherish Reathel’s memory are her husband of 49 years, Gerald of Algona; daughters, Jennifer Beisch of Algona, Keisha (Bob) Bobolz of Mason City, Melissa (Chase) Mathies of Burt and Megan Beisch (Chris Imbus) of Algona; three grandchildren, Peyton Bobolz of Mason City, Quinnlyn Mathies of Burt and Morgan Imbus of Algona. She was preceded in death by her parents.
