WINN – Raymond Wayne Winn, 65, passed away suddenly on Saturday, May 22, 2021. Born August 31, 1955 in Winsted; the son of the late Thomas J. and Barbara (MacKinnon) Winn. Ray worked for Ridgefield School Systems for 15+ years and was getting ready to retire shortly. He loved fishing, hunting and riding motorcycles. He always had a joke and smile for anyone he met and his unique character of not only making people feel comfortable but laughing hysterically in any situation. He is already dearly missed. He is survived by his beloved children, Shelby (Cody) Aakjar of Winsted and Ryan Winn of Winsted; step daughter, Shannon Emilia of ME; close step granddaughter, Rachel Peterson of Burlington; mother of his children, Sharon Winn of Winsted; siblings, Gerald Winn of Winsted, Robert (Laura) Winn of Winsted Thomas (Noelle) Winn of Winsted, Barbara (Bruce) Cameron of MA, Catherine (Duane) Aldridge of MA, Paul (Lynn) Winn of Winsted, Mary (Michael) Misiorski of New Hartford, Martha Murphy of Torrington, Terrence (Donna) of Winsted, Dennis (Toni) Winn of Colebrook and Michael (Denise) Winn of Winsted; and several nieces, nephews and many friends. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Peter T. Winn.
