Raymond DeLouise, Sr., 93, of Hartford Tpke., Hamden passed away peacefully on Christmas Eve. He joins his wife, Dorothy Tercyak DeLouise and his son Raymond DeLouise Jr. in heaven. Mr. DeLouise was born in New HavenNov. 28, 1919, son of the late Joseph and Theresa E. Bove DeLouise. He leaves his loving daughter Cynthia D. DeLouise and three grandchildren, Jordan White, Andrew DeLouise and Amanda DeLouise (Michael) Hensen, his daughter-in-law, Debra DeLouise of Cheshire, a brother, Edward DeLouise of Guilford; two sisters, Louise Leopold of North Haven and Julie (Anthony) Giordano of West Haven; Jordan’s Dad, Malik White of Hamden and his wonderful caretaker, Mary Young of East Haven. He was predeceased by two brothers, Joseph and Alfred DeLouise and a sister, Libby Adams. Mr. DeLouise was his daughter’s best friend. He was a creative soul, a graphic artist, watchmaker, tool designer and vocational educator. He was a proud WWII army veteran who served in France. He was a kind and devoted husband, father and grandfather. Petey, his seven year old boxer, will greatly miss his companionship. We acknowledge all the wonderful friends who shared his life and gave years of support to his loved ones.4 to 8 pm.
