Born in Yonkers, NY, Raymond “RONSKI” Skowronski was a master painter and artist. His work ranged from large scale signage art to fine hand-lettered and detailed race cars, trucks, buses and boats. He was well known around the county for his work. Ray had an immense love for nature and hiking. He hiked the numerous trails and parklands of the lower Hudson Valley which he continued to do weekly. Montauk, NY was also a favorite place of his for decades. He was a race car, airplane and local history enthusiast. Raymond is survived by his daughters Susan Jacobsen of Somers, NY, Lynne Skowronski of North Salt Lake, Utah, Diane Potter of Churchville, NY and Gail Skowronski of Plattsburgh, NY, 12 grandchildren, 2 greatgrandchildren and by niece Nanci Skowronski of Alpine, NJ and nephew Matthew. He also leaves behind many friends and colleagues who were dear to him.
