Apolonio “Raymond” Sedillo, 68, longtime resident of Alamogordo died March 12, 2010 at his home of natural causes.
Raymond, or more affectionately known as “Yoyo” was born in Carrizozo, NM on July 28, 1941. This kind-eyed man lived a life of simple wisdom, cherishing each moment with family, friends and his dog Angel. “Poor-thing” this gentle man would utter as he helped those in need and quietly disappear without asking for a thing in return.
Raymond was survived by his loving sister and caregiver, Gloria Sedillo-Martinez. He was also survived by seven other of twelve siblings, Tony Sedillo and wife Sandra of Alamogordo, Lillian Myers and husband Mel of Alamogordo, Rosemarie Langefeld and husband Michael of TN, Henry Sedillo and wife Brandy of Shelton, WA, Judy Lee and husband Rich of Dodgeville, WI, Michael Sedillo and wife Anita of Alamogordo and Robert Sedillo and wife Liz of Albuquerque, as well as close family friend, Rene Rockwell.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lorenzo and Rafela (Romero) Sedillo and four siblings, Eddie Sedillo, Geneva Lyons, Fred Sedillo and David Sedillo.
