Raymond S. Moore, age 82, longtime resident of Milford and beloved husband to the late Carlene Fuller Moore, passed away on Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at CT Hospice in Branford. Born on May 29, 1929 in Cambridge, MA, he was the son of the late William and Olive Snow Moore. Ray was a 1951 graduate of Bates College in Lewiston, ME where he met his wife Carlene. He served with pride and honor as a member of the Counter Intelligence Corp in the US Army during the Korean War. Ray was employed as a marketing manager for Getty Oil Co. for over 35 years. He enjoyed coaching youth sports, was an avid bridge player and golfer.
He is survived by his three children, Catherine Lisak and her husband Robert of New Haven, Christine Coflan and her husband Barry of N. Andover, MA and William F. Moore and his fiancée Heather Bryson of Los Angeles, CA. Also his five cherished grandchildren, Alexander Lisak and his wife Jessica, Anne Lisak and Mark Lisak, Andrew Coflan and Benjamin Coflan, his brother William H. Moore, Jr. and his wife Susan of Lakewood Ranch, FL and a loving extended family.
