Raymond ”Max” Beadle, 71, Anderson, died July 6, 2003 at St. Johns Health System, Anderson Indiana after a brief illness. He was born April 22, 1932 in Gilmore, Indiana, and was an Anderson resident for 53 years. He retired from Delco Remy Division of General Motors after 40 years of employment. He attended Midland Schools in Midland, Indiana. He attended New Life Church of the Nazarene. He was a member of the UAW Local #662 and the Fellowship Lodge #681. Max enjoyed bowling, Model A cars and their restoration, working with wood and his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Mary Modlin Beadle; two children, Neil A. Beadle of Anderson and Anita Cheesman & fiancé Terry Davidson of Muncie; five brothers and sisters, Jayne Ansorge of Jasonville, Joseph & wife Hazel Beadle of Galesburg, Illinois, Ruth & husband Bob Fauverque of Linton, Carl & wife Lenore Beadle of Dugger and Bill & wife Kay Beadle of Rushville; two grandchildren, Joshua Beadle of Anderson and Gabriel & wife Alyson Beadle of Chesterton; several nieces and nephews and a Granddog, Little Newt He was preceded by his father, Rev. Noah Beadle; mother, Margaret Norris Beadle; brothers, Claude Beadle, James Beadle and Noah Beadle Jr.; sisters, Eunice Brown and Ruby Fraser; and mother-in-law. Carrie Modlin.
