Raymond M. Jolley, 92, of Noblesville, IN formerly of Flemingsburg passed away Sunday October 27, 2013 at Harbour Manor.

Raymond was born August 2, 1921 in Fleming County to the late Jesses M. and Tilda Farrow Jolley.

Raymond was a life long farmer, he had worked for Randall’s and was retired from the State Highway Department where he had been a truck driver. He was a long time member of Battle Run Christian Church.

Raymond was a veteran of the US Army serving over seas during WWII and was discharged as a Tech 5. He served with Company A 605TH Tank Destroyer Battalion as a forward observer hauling supplies from the rear areas to the frontlines.

Survivors include his daughter Paula Lee; daughter-in-law Brenda Jolly; grandchildren Kathryn Lee, Christopher Lee, Kaylah Overby and Lisa Dawson.

He was preceded in death by his wife Ruby Flora Jolley, children Gary Jolley and Patty Tester along with his parents.
