Raymond Lamar Sloan, age 77, of Rocky Face, Georgia passed away Monday, October 19, 2020. He was born on February 26, 1943. He was a member at Crown View Baptist Church in Dalton. He was preceded in death by his wife, Henda Moreland Sloan; sons, Ricky Sloan and Donny Sloan; parents, James Glenn Sloan and Rosaline Harris Sloan; and brother, Tom Sloan. He is survived by his sons and daughters in law, Chris and Jennifer Sloan of Ringgold, Danny Sloan and Leslie Timmons of Dalton; Marlo Sloan of Crandall; brothers and sisters in law, Wayne and Dot Sloan of Rocky Face, Bill and Alice Sloan of Dalton; sisters and brother in law, Annette Boyd of McMinnville, TN, Marlene and JE Lindsey of Atlanta; grandchildren, Adam, Austin and Amy Sloan, Shandre and Robbie Leamon, Dewayne Linder and Marcus Worley; and several nieces and nephews.
