Staff Sergeant Raymond Lee ” Sarge ” Miller of Stoughton, a United States Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict passed away on November 6, 2014 in Brockton. He was 87 years old and the beloved husband of Maria J.” Mary ” (Gonsalves) DeCaires Miller.
Born March 25, 1927 in Lexington, South Carolina he was the son of the late Robert L. and Birdie (Barr) Miller. He was employed by the Town Of Walpole in their Parks Department for over twenty years.
Mr. Miller is survived by his sons Frank DeCaires of Stoughton and David L. Miller of South Carolina. He is also survived by his 2 grandchildren, Nicole L. ( DeCaires ) Meneses and her husband Paul of Raynham, Christopher F. DeCaires of Stoughton and his 6 great- grandchildren, Alyssa, Aiden, Ashlyn, Avery, Kyle and C.J.
