Raymond Leo Hohenleitner was born on February 8, 1934 in Portland, Oregon to Herbert Frank “Bub” Hohenleitner & Anabell Marie (Conley) Hohenleitner.
Raymond married Joretta Lammers in 1957 and enjoyed summer weekends at his cabin in Cascade, fishing and cutting firewood. He devoted himself to his wife Joretta.Early in life he ran Splendid Bakery with his father and mentor, Bub, and later owned the bakery with his best friend Bill McDaid. Ray kept bees and invested in a shrimp farm. He also co-owned KTS Tire on Fairview in Boise. He answered the phone at Frontier Fence and went on bids with his son, Andy, until he retired when he was 79 years old.Raymond was a member of St.
He is survived by his sons Andrew Herbert Hohenleitner and Casey Bryon Hohenleitner both of Boise, his daughter, Cindy Ann Hohenleitner of Santa Fe, New Mexico, his grandson, Raymond Michael Hohenleitner, Jr. of Boise, and his sister, Joann Carley.
Ray was preceded in death by his wife, Joretta Elizabeth Hohenleitner, father and mother, Herbert Frank “Bub” and Anabell Marie Hohenleitner and Bill McDaid his best friend since 5th grade. Ray was a man who loved life, his family and friends. He will be greatly missed.
