WINTERRALEIGH Raymond John Winter, Jr., 8, of 8509 Kempton Road, died in his home on July 9, 2010. Raymond was born on June 11, 2002. He is survived by his parents, Raymond and Helen Winter; two sisters, Koren Winter and Michelle Winter and his grandparents, Jeanne and Sammy Floyd, Ray Lamberson, and Patricia Winter. Raymond Jr. was an awesome child with a complicated medical history. He loved and accepted everyone he met. People adored him. Raymond lived larger than life. He was a walking testimony for Jesus Christ. He smiled and laughed continually, never complained, and had the strongest will to live-overcoming so many impossible medical hurdles. He was an old soul in a child’s body. Raymond illuminated the world with his love.
