He loved walking around the Harlingen city lake in the early mornings and evenings. He always encouraged exercise and healthy eating to his children. His hobbies and interests included traveling, taking spontaneous road trips, learning about different cultures, watching boxing, exercising, and going to the island. He was a loving husband, proud father and grandfather, and a devout Catholic who always stood firm in his faith and never parted ways without saying, “God bless you.”

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Patricia Pacheco; his four children Eric Sepulveda (Norma), Christopher Sepulveda (Valerie), Sara Sepulveda (Martin Ortega), and Amanda Sepulveda; his seven grandchildren, Eric, Evan, Angelina, Alyssa, Skylar, Serena, and Stella; his sister, Isabel Kirk (Dr. Richard Kirk) and nephews John Garcia (Desirae) and Jay Garcia (Elizabeth).
