Raymond H. Stein, 73, of Lewis, Iowa, passed away Saturday, April 5, 2008, at the Atlantic Nursing and Rehab Center in Atlantic, Iowa.
Raymond Henry Stein, the son of Michael Ambrose and Isabelle Mary (Foxhoven) Stein, was born July 2, 1934, northwest of Portsmouth, Iowa, on the family farm.
He attended country school through the eighth grade, later earning his GED. Throughout his life, Ray had lived in Portsmouth, Harlan, Atlantic and Lewis.
He was united in marriage to Roberta Clements on September 23, 1961. Four children were born to this union.
