Raymond George Kessler, age 94, died peacefully at home in St. Charles, Illinois, surrounded by family.
Married for 72 years to his beloved wife Rose, who survives him.
Following God’s admonition to “be fruitful and multiply”, Ray’s legacy includes 13 children, 40 grandchildren, and 22 (and counting) great grandchildren.
Ray was a proud Navy veteran who served in the Pacific aboard the USS Mt. McKinley, witnessing the US atomic bomb tests.
In addition to Rose, Ray is survived by 13 loving children: Gregory (Jane), Marcus (Evryl), Patrick (Marian), Rosemary, Timothy (Patricia), Peter (Jeannine), Susan (George), Paul, Michael (Molly), Philip (Susanne), Madeline (David), Mary, and John.
