Raymond Frederick Powell Sr. Of Taneytown, Maryland passed unexpectedly on Saturday, January 16, 2021. He was just 61.
Ray was the dear father to Daughter, Kristy L May & Husband Vernon May & Son, Raymond F Powell Jr. He adored his Grandchildren, Megan Potts, Savannah Powell, Jaycee May, Nicolas Powell, Hailey May & Benjamin Powell. He was the husband and life partner of Bonnie Powell who he loved always. Ray was also survived by his cherished Siblings Glen Powell, Robert Powell & Wife Kim Powell, Dawn Delo & Husband Greg Delo, as well as many nieces & Nephews that he loved dearly. Ray was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond N Powell & Sarah “Johnston” Powell, as well as his sister Sandra “Powell” Croghan.
Ray took pride in being the life of the crowd, making everyone around him laugh and smile! He loved his collections of trains, Hess Trucks and FlashLights! His greatest joy was to go camping with his family and spend time with his Grandchildren. He was a very compassionate man who LOVED BIG and shared every ounce of himself he could possibly give. It didn’t matter if you were a family member, a friend or just a person on the corner. If you needed help, Ray was always there to lend a helping hand.
