Ray was a retired Local Manager of Mississippi Power Company and a member of First Baptist Church of Picayune. He was avid fisherman and enjoyed gardening. Ray was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle, and friend, who will be truly missed by all who knew and loved was preceded in death by his parents, Charles M. Wells and Inez Breedlove Wells; his brothers, Charles E. Wells and Bennie E. Wells; and 1 granddaughter, Tonya to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 68 years, Joyce Burge Wells; his son, Randall (Diana) Wells; his daughter, Jean (Tim) Kellar; 4 grandchildren, Ryan Wells, Rustin (Keri) Wells, Jordan Kellar, and Evan Kellar; 2 great grandchildren, Brock Malley and Aubrie Melerine; and several nieces and .
