MAYSVILLE Raymond Elliott “Ray” Helton, 75, of Maysville passed away on Friday, April 19, 2019 at his residence. Ray was born in Newnan, Georgia on October 17, 1943 son of the late Raymond Lawrence & Haysel Hyde Helton. He was a 1967 graduate of Georgia Tech with a degree in Industrial Engineering. He then obtained an MBA at Morehead State University. Ray was owner of Sterling Electric in Indianapolis.
Survivors include his wife Linda Roberson Helton; his children, Kathryn Jordan (Holly), Karen Rapoport (Jonathan), Chris Roberson (Carla) and Amy Roberson Dudley (Wm); eight grandchildren, Lucia, Elliott & Mazie Jordan, Avery & Landon Rapoport, Shelby & Samantha Roberson & Kaitlyn Craft; three brothers, Kenneth Helton (Deborah), Steve Helton (Mavis) and David Helton. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Larry Helton.
