Raymond E. Huitt passed away on May 6, 2008 after a long and courageous battle with Alzheimer’s at the Olivia White Hospice Home in Flagstaff, Arizona. He touched many lives throughout his long teaching career in Colorado and Arizona at both the university and elementary levels. He loved watching the Diamondbacks’ games, caring for his dog, and reading.
He is survived by his son Max (Veronica) Huitt, daughter Polly (Joel) Price, two grandsons, brother Burl (Elsie) Huitt, and sister Nita Raney.
