Raymond Charles White, age 70, of Red Lake, Minnesota passed away at the Red Lake Hospital after a lengthy and hard-fought battle with cancer.  Raymond was born in Red Lake, MN on December 31, 1948, the son of Patricia and Charles White.

Ray loved the outdoors.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, trapping, playing golf, baseball and softball in his younger years.  His favorite “hobby” was playing Lightening Link and Lock it Link at the Shooting Star Casino in Bagley.  He enjoyed spending time with his grandkids and gave them all nicknames.  He and his wife Irene were raising three of their grandkids at the time of his passing.

Ray began working for Red Lake Comprehensive Health Services on August 14, 1990.  He started as a transportation driver and went on to become an EMT and later became the EMS Supervisor.

He is survived by his wife Irene McGraw of Red Lake; mother, Patricia White of Red Lake; sons, Jarod White and Brian (Keisha) White, Sr. both of Red Lake and Justice (Sierrajen) Desjarlait of Ft. Yates, ND; step sons, Cory Desjarlait of Red Lake, John Goetz of St. Paul and Jim Goetz of Lakeville; special son, Brenden Desjarlait of Red Lake; daughters, Patricia Evans and Mary Nicholson both of Minneapolis, Charlotte White of Green Bay, WI and Chele White of Red Lake; step daughters, Kristie Desjarlait of Red Lake and Jacqueline Pelky of Appleton, WI; siblings, Michael White of Red Lake and Anthony White of Minneapolis, Kari White of Minneapolis and Randi Jo White of Red Lake, numerous grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, other family members and friends.

Ray is reunited with his father, Charles White and brothers, Robert, Darren, Joel and Lee White.
