Raymond C. Ford, Sr. of Burlington City died at his residence on Wednesday September 13, 2017 at the age of 85. Born in Fieldsboro, NJ Raymond was a lifelong Burlington resident. He worked for US Pipe and Foundry Co. in Burlington City for 25 years. He then left the foundry and worked for the City of Burlington in the building maintenance department until his retirement. In his spare time Ray enjoyed watching TV and listening to music as well as building things like birdhouses.
He was the son of the late Harry C. and Anna (Revolinski) Ford. He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years Mary (Wunder) Ford, his children and their spouses; Robert R. (Nancy) Ford, Kevin (Cindy) Ford, Raymond C. Ford, Jr., Melanie (Steve) Rothenburger, his grandchildren; Robert, Jr., Mitchell, Alex, Brandy and Steven, his great grandchildren; Tayt, Bodee, Tripp, Carter, Camden and Georgia Raye, his sister Evelyn Archer and good friend Elwood Worth.
