Raymond Anthony Zelasko of Burlington, NJ, died August 31, 2012 at Hahnemann University Hospital in Philadelphia at the age of 31. Mr. Zelasko was born in Willingboro and was a longtime resident of Burlington City and parishioner of All Saints Church, where he once served as an altar boy and usher. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus #589 in Burlington. He was a graduate of All Saints School (’95) Burlington City High School (’99) and received a bachelor’s degree from Rutgers University (’05). He had great camaraderie with his customers and coworkers at Beneficial Bank (previously Farmers & Mechanics Bank).
He will be remembered by all who knew him for his childlike enthusiasm for life. He had a gift for talking to anyone around him, and was passionate about his Polish heritage, movies, and sports, particularly the New York Yankees. He also enjoyed playing chess and had participated in several tournaments. He is survived by his parents, Stanley and Irene Zelasko, his sisters Christina and Margaret, his brother Daniel and all his relatives in the United States and Poland as well as many friends.
