Raymond Albert Walsh, 82, of Bisbee, Arizona, passed away on Monday, May 4th, 2020.
Raymond was born in Elizabeth, New Jersey, to the late Albert Walsh and Felicia V. (Baradzinski) Walsh. He is graduated with a MBA, in Business Administration from Harvard University in 1963, a BSc from Fairleigh Dickinson University in 1958, a BA, from Lafayette College in 1967, and had additional graduate and undergraduate course work at various colleges and universities. Ray received an Honorary Doctor of Science in 1975.
He was a member of Mensa, the American Management Association, the Harvard Club, New York City: International Oceanographic Federation; National and International Wildlife Federations; Museum of Natural History; Problem Solvers Unanimous and numerous other professional organizations.
Ray was the VP/Director of the Great American Auto Leasing Company Inc. and Great American Auto Leasing Company of New York Inc. from 1936-1964; Senior Consultant Principle, R A Walsh Consultants, New York and previously of Bologna, Italy, La Paz, Bolivia, Verecruze, Mexico, Mexico City in 1964; CEO/CFO/Director at Micro/Macro Systems Inc of New York.
Raymond’s creative works included ghost writing major portions of completed manuscripts concerning a variety of business subjects, primarily concerned with new ventures, growth companies, international business and franchising. He was a published author of a variety of magazine articles.
Raymond is survived by ex-wife/best friend and soul mate, Gayle A. Metz of Hawthorne, New York.
He was preceded in death by his parents Albert and Felicia Walsh.
