Raymond A. Maxwell Jr. 65, unexpectedly passed away at his home in Cranston on June 10, 2023. Ray was a titan, a man who wore his heart on his sleeve. Ray was a man who would face the devil if needed for his family and friends, then ask God for forgiveness. He was a man who would sacrifice without a second thought; he was a man with a harsh tongue at times but a warm heart always. A man who left a positive impact on so many.
Ray was born in Central Falls on July 15, 1957 to Yvonne and Raymond Maxwell Sr. Ray grew up in Pawtucket, RI with his parents and his younger brother James “Jim”. Ray played both soccer and hockey during his school years and participated in a men’s softball league for many years as an adult.
