Raymond A. Cwik, Sr., 84, of South Bend, IN, passed away at 7:15 a.m. Saturday, November 13, 2021 at Grand Emerald Place Assisted Living in South Bend, IN, following a brief illness.

He was born on November 6, 1937 to the late Clement and Dorothy (Gorka) Cwiklinski in South Bend, IN, and was a lifelong area resident.  Along with his parents; he was also preceded in death by his wife, Joanne M. Cwik.

Raymond graduated in 1955 from St. Joseph High School in South Bend, IN.  He was retired from Bendix/Allied Signal in South Bend, IN, where he worked as a Supervisor of Engineering Data for 38 years.

On November 29, 1958, he married Joanne M. Ewald at the former Sacred Heart (Belgian) Catholic Church in South Bend, IN.  Joanne passed away on July 6, 2008.

Raymond is survived by his daughter, Roxanne J. Brock of South Bend, IN; two sons, Raymond A. Cwik, Jr. of Fort Myers, FL; Richard B. (Ann Marie) Cwik of South Bend, IN; two grandchildren, Alexander Cwik and Ambrie Anna Cwik, both of South Bend, IN; and one brother, Clement (Gloria) Cwiklinski of Dayton, OH.

Raymond enjoyed collecting model cars, playing recreational volleyball, and vacationing in Fort Myers, Fl.  He also loved watching Notre Dame Football, NASCAR, and Indy 500 races.

Raymond’s family would like to thank Dr. Mufti Ahmad and the staff at Michiana Hematology Oncology, all of the wonderful staff at Grand Emerald Assisted Living Facility, and the incredible caring staff at Heartland Hospice Care for taking excellent care of our father during his brief illness.
