Ray Lorenzo Hadley died June 6, 2017, at his home surrounded by his four children.

He was born September 2, 1915, in North Ogden, Utah, to Samuel and Dianna Waldrum Hadley. He lived in North Ogden for 24 years. He graduated from Utah State University in 1937 with a B. S. Degree in Accounting and Business. After employment with General Mills in Ogden for a brief period of time, he was transferred to the San Francisco Bay Area, where he worked in Oakland and then later in San Francisco for twelve years. Other employment highlights in the Bay Area included Pacific Bridge Co., where he was Chief Cost Accountant for 700 employees under contract with the U.S. Navy during WW II; a CPA Firm, Sally Rand (Famous Dancer) and Mullen Manufacturing Co.

In November, 1951, he moved to Idaho Falls, where he was employed by the Atomic Energy Research Group at the Idaho National Laboratory. Through many successive contractors, he was Administrative Assistant to the Assistant Manger for Research and Development for approximately 20 years.
