Ray G. Tibbits, III age 66 of Newnan, passed away on Saturday, January 18, 2014 at Atlanta Medical Center. He was born on April 30, 1947 in Hialeah, FL. He was preceded in death by his father, Ray G. Tibbits, Jr. and brother, Gary G. Tibbits. Mr. Tibbits served with the U.S. Marines during the Vietnam War. He retired as a electrician for Florida Power and Light. He is survived by his loving wife, Kay Tibbits; daughter, Dawn and husband Greg Archer; son, Danny and wife Ashley Tibbits; mother, Marjorie Tibbits Hester; grandchildren, Taylor Tibbits, Carson Tibbits, Kaylee Dean and Hope Dean; sister-in-Law, Penny and husband James Smith; nephew, Trey Smith.
