Mr. Ray Floyd Poling, Jr., age 71, of Clarksburg, WV passed away on Friday, October 3, 2014 at UHC in Bridgeport.
Mr. Poling was born on March 3, 1943 in Clarksburg a son of the late Rev. Ray Floyd, Sr and Leota Florence Smith Poling. Ray retired from Tolley Electric; was a past member of the Lumberport Volunteer Fire Dept.; was an avid gun and knife collector; member of the Bethel Temple; and loved spending time with his family. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Billy Poling.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Lou Demastus Poling, whom he married on December 29, 1961; 2 daughters, Dianna Marie Owens and companion, Michael Andrew Martin, of Hepzibah and Tammy Rae Crites, of Elkins; 4 grandchildren, Heather Diane Owens and Jason Arnie Owens both of Clarksburg and Nathaniel David Crites of Elkins, Alexandria Rose Crites, of Smithfield; 9 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and special friends also survive.
