Raul Roman, 64, of 771 Savin Ave., West Haven passed away March 9, 2011 in St. Raphael’s Hospital. He was the husband of the late Patricia Rowland Roman. Mr. Roman was born in Quebradillas, Puerto Rico on Jan. 23, 1947, son of the late Miguel and Milagros Soler Roman. He worked as a door fabricator for Leed Himmel Industries of Hamden for the past 13 years. He is survived by two sons, Raul (Margaret) Roman of West Palm Beach, FL. and Angel Roman of Philadelphia, PA.; a daughter, Ruth Roman in Tennessee; two brothers, Adnulfo Roman of Tampa, FL. and Neftali Santiago of New Haven; five sisters, Carmen Roman in Puerto Rico, Ada and Librada Roman, both of New Haven, Hilda Roman of Reading, PA., Elsa and Aida Santiago, both of West Haven; four grandchildren, Lucy, Kimberly, Raul III and Dennis Roman; and one great grandchild, Aidyn.
