Raul Garza 84 has gone to heaven to be with many of his family and friends on July 25, 2013. Raul came to Santa Paula from Texas in 1964. He worked as a grounds keeper for the Santa Paula School District for 25 years. He was well known in Santa Paula for hanging out with his friends playing his guitar. He would play Mexican music, the blues and oldies, But his greatest love was dancing, he would really get down when it came to dancing. Even his wife Angelina Garza couldn’t keep up with him, so she would tell him to go dance with someone else. Raul was survived by his loving wife Angelina Garza of 30 years, his step sons Joel and Michael Bustamante, his greatest love was for his step grand kids and step great grand kids, who knew him as Tata. Raul also was survived by his daughters Rachel, Esabell, and David Garza from his first marriage. He was a wonderful husband, father, grand father and great grand father. He will be truly missed by all who knew him. He may be out of sight but always in our hearts.
Viewing is planned for Wednesday, July 31, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with the recitation of the rosary at 7:00 p.m.
