On August 11, 2021, Raquel Gamez went on to become an angel. She will be remembered for so many things that made her unique. Raquel loved to cook, she could often be found in the kitchen whipping up some delicious menudo, tamales, or dressing. Raquel also had quite a sweet tooth, some of her favorite snacks were pecan sandies and Snickers. She loved her family and liked to have a get together or a game night. During these game nights, games like Uno, Monopoly, Loteria and Skipbo were all the rage. Additionally, Raquel was no stranger to a night out at the casino. She would travel up to Winstar to try her luck at the slot machines.
She is joining some loved ones in heaven: her parents, Benicio Peña and Lorenza Peña; and her sisters Alicia Alonzo and Janie Carrion.
