Randy Louis Whitchurch, 57 of Troy passed away Tuesday, June 11, 2013 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.He was born August 20, 1955 in Centralia, son of David L. Whitchurch and Raydell (Jones) Whitchurch.
Randy is survived by a son, Justin Whitchurch of Troy; three brothers: Mark Whitchurch and wife Brenda, Davy Whitchurch and wife Jessica and Brian Whitchurch; a sister, Pam Whitchurch; an Uncle Jerrold Whitchurch and wife Pat; two Aunts: JoAnn Hester and Shirley Martin; three nieces , Kaylee Heinzmann and husband Stewart, Amber Dennis and husband Glenn, Samantha Stidham, and two nephews, Paul Pitre, and Nicholas WhitchurchHe was preceded in death by his parents.
He majored in music a The University of Tennessee at Martin and minored in Phycology. He worked on the oil rigs off the golf coast before starting his career into painting. 1989, He married one Judy Karen Davis and proceeded to have a child with her. 1990 she gave birth there only son, Justin Whitchurch. In 1997 he joined Painters District Counsel No.2.
He worked with in the union until 2009. During the end of 2010 he was diagnosed with cancer. He fought amorally until the end, never giving up on his hopes and dreams. Randy’s Passion was Cooking, He had a knack for impressing everyone with his Soul food. Randy also loved tending to his garden. Family was always first in his book.
