Randy J. Kumpe, of Visalia, CA passed away on November 4, 2021, at the age of 69, after a courageous battle with cancer. Randy was born on January 21, 1952, to Ernest and Gladys Kumpe in Hot Springs, Arkansas. After Randy graduated from Ambassador High School in Downey, CA, in 1970, he attended Seattle Pacific University on a basketball scholarship. He then transferred to Southern California College where he received his Bachelors Degree in 1976. Upon graduation, he embarked on a 13-year career as a teacher and a sports coach. After a transition to Home Depot, he retired in 2018 in Coeur D’ Alene, ID. Randy was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Gladys Kumpe, and son, Drew Kumpe. He is survived by his spouse, Debby (Bethany) Kumpe, brother Ernie (Peggy) Kumpe, nephew Jeff Kumpe, daughter-in-law Nattalie Kumpe and grandsons Wyatt and Wesley, son Lucas Kumpe, son Jacob (Jeni) Kumpe and grandchildren Levi, Malachi, Maci, and Lexi.

Randy will be fondly remembered by family and friends as a loving father, husband, and grandpa. He had a great sense of humor and he loved to laugh. His kind heart and desire to connect with others left a lasting impression on many. He had strong faith in Jesus, and he has been welcomed home.

The family asks that in honor of Randy you enjoy a slice of pie (or two), like he would have.
