Randy Edwin Hieb, son of Edwin and Clara was born in Rupert, Idaho on March 27, 1953. He passed peacefully in rest at his home Wednesday, March 29, at the age of 64. Randy was raised on a farm north of Rupert and graduated from Minidoka County High School in 1971. He went on to work in the agriculture industry the remainder of his days. His work ethic and attention to detail earned him the Applicator of the Year award for the entire Northwest Region in 2008. He is survived by his mother Clara, his brothers Rocky and Rick, his two children Wes (Carly) Hieb and Brandy (Kyle) Takac, and two grandchildren Amelia and Bennett Takac. He is preceded in death by his father Edwin and sister Sherri Hammond. He had an avid love of anything outdoors as well as teaching and sharing that love with his children and grandchildren.
