Randy Dale Buzzell, 51, of Burlington, formerly of Southington, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Thursday, April 26, 2012.

Randy was born in Bangor, Maine on February 22, 1961, one of three children to the late Mary Buzzell Tetreault.  Raised in Southington, he attended local schools, and went on to attend Goodwin Technical Institute.  A master mechanic, Randy’s greatest passion was working on and restoring vehicles.  He was employed by the former Thomas Cadillac in Hartford for over twenty years, furthered his skills by attending several training schools, and became the second best Cadillac mechanic in the United States, winning countless awards.  Always the hard worker, he was a business savvy entrepreneur, operating several businesses including car dealerships, gas stations, and the former Gaby’s bar in Southington.  He was currently employed as a truck driver and construction assistant for K & R Trucking and Ron’s Family Fuel, where he leaves many dear friends and co-workers.

He is survived by his sister, Sandra Nagy; his son, Jesse Bonomi; his best friend and love of his life, Kim Eaccarino and her daughter, Lily, whom he adored; his niece, Michelle Fenton; his nephew, Stephen Nagy; and his former wife, Kathy Buonocore as well as her family.  He also leaves his aunts and uncles, Arthur and Clara Buzzell and Christine Sprague, all of Maine; and several cousins.  He was predeceased by his sister, Lillian Tamowski.
