Randy Cain, loving husband and father passed away August 21, 2019, suddenly of a stroke at the age of 62. Randy was born in Clarksburg, WV on January 17, 1957, to the late H.E. “Gene” and Eleanor Weekley Cain.
Randy was totally dedicated and devoted to his wife and daughters. He married the love of his life, Martha Lou Christie Cain on February 16, 1985, and had two daughters, Bethany Cain and fiancé Austin Hill, and Emily Cain all of Charlotte, NC.
He is also survived by three brothers, Rick Cain and wife Betsy, Frederick, MD, Roger Cain and wife Shelby, Clarksburg, and Jeff Cain, Clarksburg; his nieces and nephews, Whitney, John and Jack Heydon, Taylor Cain and fiancé Braden Nichols, Morgan, Jesse and Ryan Cain; and seven brother and sister in laws, John & Debbie Christie, Morgantown, WV, Jeanne & Boyd Warner, Lake Floyd, WV, Susan & Howard McConnell, Bluffton, SC, Jim & Misty Christie, Bridgeport, WV, Mary Ann & Mike Kroll, Philippi, WV, Betsy & Greg Shantz, Norristown, PA, Luke & Bridget Christie, Berkeley Springs, WV, and sixty nine nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his father-in-law and mother-in-law, John and Mary Lou Curtis Christie.
Randy was a graduate of Washington Irving High School with the Class of 1974, and attended West Virginia University. Randy had a lifetime dedication to his Chestnut Hills family and felt it was the greatest community of his generation. He was a longtime Clarksburg businessman, and the co-owner of Cain Brothers Construction. Randy was an avid skier and fisherman, which were his greatest passions. He was a Mountaineer fan and loved to attend WVU football games with his daughters and friends.
