Randy C. Acorn, Jr., age 42, of Carver, passed away unexpectedly on September 30, 2018, at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Boston. He was the beloved son of Deborah (Gillis) Acorn and Peter Mooney of Carver, and the late Randy Acorn, Sr. He was the cherished and devoted Father to Iris Acorn of Carver. He leaves his best friend who was like a brother to him, Dan Mahoney of Manomet and his foster sister, Susan Ellis of New York. He also leaves, many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Randy was born on May 31, 1976 in Torrance, California to Randy and Deborah (Gillis) Acorn, Sr. He graduated from Carver High School and worked for SLT Construction. He enjoyed fishing and was a New England Patriots fan as well as all sports. Randys daughter Iris was the center of his world and love of his life. His favorite thing to do was spending time with her going to concerts and Seekonk Speedway. Randy was a caring, helpful person, he had a huge heart and always made people laugh. He will leave a void in many hearts he touched.
