Randall Lee York, Ringgold, died Saturday, May 28, 2011, at his residence. He was a lifelong resident of Catoosa County and was of the Baptist faith. Mr. York retired after 33 years from Mohawk Industries, formerly Galaxy of Fort Oglethorpe. Mr. York enjoyed motorcycles, fishing with friends, gardening and cooking. He was preceded in death by his father, Enoch Burton. Survivors are his wife, Vickie; mother, Doris Pierce York; sister, Dianne York Morgan, Rossville; nieces, Amy Morgan, Rossville, Carol Morgan, Orlando, Fla., Stacey Helton, Chickamauga, Amy Everett and Kelly Browning, Rossville; great-niece, Laura Morgan, Orlando, Fla., and many more great-nieces and nephews; the joy of his life, his God-children, Justin Walker, Katie Walker, and Eli Walker, with whom he spent much of his free time.
