Randall “Randy” G. Cox, 46, of Newnan passed away Thursday, July 23, 2015. He was born March 14, 1969 in Newnan to Guy Cox & Karen Payton Cox. Randy graduated from Newnan High School in 1987 where he played third base on the baseball team. Baseball and his family were his passions. He coached his sons’ baseball teams and umpired for a girls softball league. He and his family are active members of Hope Memorial Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife of 26 years, Deborah Thompson Cox; sons, Casey Cox, Corey Cox, Cody Cox; granddaughter, Gracelynn Cox; parents, Guy & Karen Cox; brother, Shane (Davina) Cox; father & mother-in-law, Elwood & Mary Jane Thompson; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
