Ramona Ruth Morris, 95, passed away May 27, 2022 in Ogden, UT. She was born March 23, 1927 in Bozeman, MT to Thomas and Jessie Virginia Clark.
Ramona was raised in Ogden, UT and attended Ogden High School. She married Teddy Lee King on June 29, 1945, he passed away in Nov 3,1984. Prior to his death they traveled the country as chef and waitress and ended up at Nero’s in Salt Lake City. Later Ramona met and married Ralph Morris on October 12, 1991 and they were sealed in the Ogden Temple. Ralph passed away Aug 11, 2010.
Ramona had many hobbies: crocheting, embroidery, gardening, and walking. She was very sociable and made friends everywhere she went, especially the Friendship Manor.
Ramona lived a life of service as a member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers, Children’s Hour Club, Sr. Volunteers, and as an ordinance worker at the Ogden Temple. She and her husband, Ralph served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at Deseret Industries. Ramona served in many capacities for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was privileged to serve as a Primary President in her eighties and taught Sunday School and Relief Society into her 90s. She loved the Lord and served Him to the day she passed.
Ramona is survived by her sister, Virginia Estep of Boise, ID; nieces Cathy Bishop of Sanger, TX, Karen Dilworth of Salt Lake City, UT, Ginnyann Hayes of Nampa, ID, Tammy Cluff of Meridian, ID, Tracy Webb of Nampa, ID; and nephews Gary Estep and Bawb Estep both of Boise, ID; Tom E. Clark of Nampa, ID; Tim Clark of Garden City, ID; and Don Carlos King of Washington Terrace, UT. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother Tom (Mary) Clark; 3 brothers who died at birth; and her husbands Ted King and Ralph Morris.
