Ramona L. Draper, age 74, of Fairmount, IN, died Friday August 12, 2011 at Lutheran Hospital Ft. Wayne. Ramona was a clerk at the Fairmount License Branch, had been the receptionist at Ginger Lee’s and had also worked at Lumbertown South Marion Lumber and Byrd Lumber North Marion.
She was the daughter of the late Ivan Stroup and the late Elenora (Cox) Stroup.She was born onMarch 25, 1937 in Marion, Indiana.She graduated from Fairmount High School in 1955 and attended Ball State University.
Ramona was a member of the Fairmount Friends Church, Eastern Star of Fairmount and was a Guardian of Job’s Daughters.She was a charter member of Phi Chi Epilson Soriority Alpha Alpha Chapter. She served on the committees for the Grand Opening of the Fairmount Town Hall and the Fairmount Post Office as well as the Fairmount Centenial Celebration and was also the President of the Fairmount High School Alummni.She was the owner of EK Gift Shop in Fairmount.
