Ramona Jeanine Worsencroft, 92, of Ash Flat, Arkansas passed away Saturday, October 23, 2021, in Ash Flat.
She was born in Columbus, Nebraska on August 18, 1929, daughter of the late Vernon and Irene (Esty) Myer. Ramona spent her life as a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She went to college at Brigham Young University where she met her husband Jerry Worsencroft and from this union four children were born. Ramona lived a full life. She enjoyed painting, collecting old coins and jewelry, writing, pageants, and politics. Ramona was elected to County Treasurer and named Mrs. Iowa. She wrote a book titled “Echo from the Past” about her ancestors Mary Esty and Rebecca Nurse who were wrongly executed during the Salem Witch Trials.
Ramona is survived by her sons, Jerry Worsencroft and Bert Worsencroft; daughter, Lisa Walker; grandchildren, Amy, Kristen, Katie, Alexis, Bradley, Brigham, Bret, Brennen, Jenny, Brodie, Branson, Zane, Cody, Andrew, Brady and Ben and 32 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Worsencroft; daughter, Lynne; grandson, Brady; sister, June and parents, Vernon and Irene Myer.
