Hope, hope is all you can plead,
Always watching for all of her needs.
Lying in bed day to night,
Never giving up without a fight.
From card games to Sunday drives,
Our hope will always thrive.
Memories of the good days and bad,
I hope we never lose what we had.
You will never ever leave our hearts.
Everyone with all good will,
Even though she is still very ill.
Getting better and out of bed,
Never leaving out of our heads.
Walking through the house all about,
Always finding ways to help out.
Hope, hope is all you can plead,
Always tending to her needs.
She can get better however she may,
I’m just glad that I know she’s here to stay.
